G and E Company
was founded in June 1984 as a contractor in civil engineering works. During that
period, the application of geosynthetics was first introduced to the market and
its versatility was quickly appreciated. In 1987, an agreement was reached with
the then US company, Amoco Fabrics & Fibers, for the distribution of geotextiles
in Hong Kong. Since then, the company started to specialize in the field of
geosynthetics.
Over the years, the company has established distributorship of a large and
complementing variety of geosynthetics with renowned worldwide manufacturers, at
the same time, developed a competent installation contracting service. Today,
with over one million square meters of geomembrane
installation experience, G and E is capable of taking any geosynthetics
installation project with organized logistics, swift mobilization of a
well-trained crew and an enviable client satisfactory record. To better serve
our clients, design and engineering service have also been included in our
portfolio. It is our goal that we can provide comprehensive solutions to our
clients, from engineering solution and design, the supply of materials and their
installation, as well as the testing and commissioning.
At present, G and E is recognized as a reputable specialist supplier and
installer of geosynthetics. G and E is member of the reputable International
Association of Geosynthetic Installer, a member of International Geosynthetics
Society and the authorized geomembrane installer for GSE Lining Technology Inc.
USA.
The Company takes a strong vision on geosynthetics application development with
latest technology by working closely with international engineers and worldwide
manufacturers in the industry, a mission to broaden the versatility of
geosynthetics usages.
G and E is currently representing a
number of multinational manufacturers and their products for their distribution
in Hong Kong, Macau and Southern China.
In the past 24 years, G and E had
established a remarkable successful working relationship with a long list of
clients, the Government project owners, contractors, designers, consultant
engineers, overseas distributors and traders. The client base extends to Macau,
Southeast Asia and Southern China.
